IT STARTED WITH A MUSIC SCENE
Prism Parade founder Jill Patton came up through underground punk and hardcore scenes, where DIY wasn’t a trend. It was a way of life. That mindset carried into her first venture: a small candle company in Austin, Texas. For over a decade, Luna Tigre Candles enjoyed modest success, eventually landing on shelves at Whole Foods in Central Texas and New Orleans.
And then, one sparkly shade changed everything and a moment of curiosity turned into an obsession. Jill had discovered the unexpected satisfaction of doing her own nails.
She went all in.
What followed was a deep dive into polish making: bold color, high-impact shimmer, and so, so much glitter. With her creative + life partner Dan, they created a brand designed to celebrate individuality in all its forms, with shades that invite you to express yourself authentically, and on your own terms.
